Since changing ownership in 2011,

We do not claim to be a 5 star lodge or to be "fancy", but we believe in providing our guests with a genuinely good time and quality.

Add to this comfortable beds with 100% cotton percale linen, thick fluffy towels, airconditioning for those hot, OR cold days, coffee & tea facilities, hot showers "powered" by our good old-fashioned "hot water donkey" ​(typically an off-grid wood-fired water heating system), plump leather sofas and chairs, hammocks, fireplaces, ample kitchen facilities and so much more!​​

Here, we are not on a "hamster wheel" - we take things a bit slower, become a bit more in tune with the surrounds, learn some valuable lessons from Mother Nature and just appreciate the space, sounds and setting.
