It is a malaria-free, privately owned and managed Karoo game farm about 50 km's from the historical town of Graaff-Reinet - host of, amongst others, the very successful and fun annual Stoeptasting event.

"Camdeboo" means "green hollow" or "green valley" - derived from the Khoisan language and

is associated with the Camdeboo National Park that almost completely surrounds Graaff-Reinet.

A well-appointed Safari Lodge and tastefully decorated accommodations blend into a forest of thousand-plus year old Wild Olive trees.
